Normally the color dot or oblique cut pin designates the input; on the MAV
the (elevated) "dot" points to the output ! Type MAV is slightly bigger
to allow better heat disspation. The HP equivalent for MAV is MSA ??04.
For MAR1 we supply a better alternatives- the MAR6).

The INA's are high-performance types: 10386/02184 medium power (02184 optimum
noise at 500 MHz), 03184 very flat gain to 2.5 GHz.

The MMIC is widespread since we introduced it several years ago.
It's a very cute little RF amplifier andf there's ample choice.
We try to offer a good selection.

Clearly, in the low cost series the MAR6 is the champ, followed by MAR8
(more gain) and MAV11 (higher drive capabilitiy).

Most MMIC's are designed for 50 ohms, however using them on 
75 ohms is possible with minor loss.
Note that we offer special 75 ohms lowpower hybrids, see "IC's": type OM...).

Please note the new ERA's, high performance and very stable.

* means "separate plus DC", contrary to the usual output +B feed.
